We're intrigued with this article by author Ben Hewitt from Best Life magazine that has identified eight foods you should eat every day to help you boost immunity, enhance eyesight, build bone strength, fight cancer, stimulate your brain, increase muscle density, promote heart health and perk up your sex life.
The piece focuses on the nutritional power provided by spinach, yogurt, tomatoes, carrots, blueberries, black beans, walnuts, and oats. Blueberries, for example are:
"...host to more antioxidants than any other popular fruit, blueberries help prevent cancer, diabetes, and age-related memory changes (hence the nickname âbrain berryâ). Studies show that blueberries, which are rich in fiber and vitamins A and C, boost cardiovascular health."
The author also gives tips on acceptable substitutes as well as recipes that are quick-to-prepare. Now the question is, can anyone come up with a great recipe including all eight super-foods?
